Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password (managed by Supabase Auth). When you analyse a game, we store the PGN you submitted and the coaching feedback generated.

How we use your data

• Your email is used for account authentication and transactional emails (confirmation, password reset).
• Your PGN and coaching data are stored so you can access your analysis history.
• We send your PGN and engine analysis to Anthropic's Claude API to generate coaching. Anthropic's API does not retain inputs for training purposes.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your games or data for advertising.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Only you can access your analyses and account data through authenticated requests.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Cookies

We use an authentication token stored in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in, plus privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.
