This page explains what postgame stores in your browser and why. The short version: we use only what's needed to run the service and to count visits in a privacy-friendly way. We don't use cookies to track you across the web or to show advertising, so you won't see a cookie consent banner — there's nothing non-essential to consent to.
| What | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication token | localStorage (essential) | Keeps you signed in between page loads, so you don't have to log in on every visit. |
| Interface preferences | localStorage (functional) | Remembers small things like whether you've seen the welcome message and which study tasks you've ticked off. |
| Plausible analytics | No cookies | We use Plausible to count page views and understand roughly how the site is used. It is cookieless and does not collect or store personal data or build a profile of you. |
| Error monitoring (Sentry) | No tracking cookies | Captures technical error reports so we can fix bugs. It is not used to track or profile visitors. |
When you buy credits, checkout is handled on Stripe's own hosted page. Any cookies Stripe sets for fraud prevention and processing belong to Stripe's domain, not ours, and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Essential and functional storage (keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences) does not require consent under GDPR or Swiss data protection law. Our analytics is cookieless and collects no personal data, so it does not require consent either. Because of this, postgame does not display a cookie banner.
You can clear postgame's stored data at any time through your browser settings (clearing site data for post-game.net). Note that clearing the authentication token will sign you out. Blocking all storage may prevent you from logging in, since the sign-in token is essential to using the service.
If we ever introduce new storage or third-party tools that change this picture, we'll update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before they load.
For how we handle your account and game data, see our Privacy Policy.
