Service description

postgame is an AI-powered chess coaching service. You submit chess games (PGN format) and receive automated coaching analysis generated by a combination of chess engine evaluation and AI language models.

Account

You must create an account to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person.

Subscription and payments

• New accounts receive three free analyses. No payment details are required to use them.
• Unlimited access is offered as a subscription of CHF 5 per month, billed monthly through Stripe and renewing automatically until cancelled.
• “Unlimited” is subject to a fair-use limit of 100 analyses per calendar month, which exists to prevent automated or abusive use. Contact us if you have a legitimate need for more.
• A Quick analysis and a Deep analysis are both included in the subscription at no additional cost.
• You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• If an analysis fails due to a technical error, it does not count towards your fair-use limit, and free-tier analyses are automatically returned.
• If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase. By starting your subscription and using the service immediately, you agree that the service begins before the end of that period; where the service has been used, any refund may be reduced proportionally.
• Credits purchased under our previous pay-per-analysis model remain valid and usable, and do not expire.

AI-generated content

Coaching analysis is generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. The service is intended as a learning aid, not as authoritative chess instruction. We do not guarantee the accuracy of tactical or strategic explanations.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to process games in bulk through automated scripts, resell analysis output as your own coaching product, or attempt to circumvent usage or fair-use limits.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Analysis times may vary depending on game length and server load.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for any decisions made based on the coaching output, loss of data, or service interruptions.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
